Okay, it was a little more complicated to get things just right but I've accomplished things #3 & #4. The link on Thing #3 didn't work so I sent a plain email and discovered the form in the next email. Oh well...live and learn?!
Now I'm contemplating curriculum connections. A book discussion blog would be so much fun, but would my district allow it? They are so risk adverse when it comes to students and the internet.

Thing #2
I enjoyed the the 7 1/2 Habits presentation. It made a lot of sense to me...
Easiest habit? No doubt: Habit 7: Teach/mentor others. I've already emailed my colleagues and encouraged them to participate. I've already shared my avatar, and how to make it, with friends. Sharing knowledge comes so naturally.
Hardest habit? No doubt: Habit 2: Accept responsibility for your own learning. Will I follow through with my contract? Will I let obstacles--self-imposed or otherwise--derail me? I hope not, but I know that I have done in the past.

Here I am blogging! I'm quite astonished by how easy it is really. I've named my blog "23 Plus Things" in tribue to the 7 1/2 Habits, recognizing that I will learn more "things" than can be quantified.
